Booking
Bookings can be made by telephone, fax, e-mail or online. To confirm a booking we ask for a deposit of the cost of the first nights stay.

A confirmed booking represents a contract between the guest and the Bar Convent. This deposit is not refundable in the event of a cancellation unless we are able to re-let the accommodation. In this event a £5.00 administration fee will be charged.

Please note that there is a £10 weekend supplement per room for a one night booking on a Saturday night.

Accounts must be paid by the end of your stay with us. The following methods of payment are accepted:

• Cash
• Cheques supported by Cheque Guarantee up to the value of the card
• Credit cards
• Sterling traveller’s cheques (no change given)

Check In and Check Out
Check in is between 12.00am and 9.30pm all week. Guests are requested to vacate their rooms by 10.00am on the day of departure. Luggage storage is available on request until 4pm on the day of departure at no additional charge.

To keep our high standards all rooms are checked on your departure. Guests will be responsible for any damaged, missing or soiled items incurred during their stay.

Group Bookings
In the case of group bookings a bond will be required i.e. valid credit card details or a sum of £100. This money will be refunded at the end of the visit provided the Housekeeper is satisfied with the condition of the allocated rooms. Any accidental damage that requires attention will be charged at commercial rates.

General Conditions
The room tariff includes a Continental Breakfast which will be served in our Café. For an additional charge of £3.50 a Full English breakfast can be requested.

For the comfort of all our guests The Bar Convent is strictly NO SMOKING in any part of the building.

Sorry no pets allowed except guide dogs. Please contact us to discuss arrangements for Guide Dogs.

All prices include VAT at the current rate.

You are understood to have accepted these Terms and Conditions by reserving a room. The Management of The Bar Convent accept no liability for the loss of personal possessions whilst on the premises.
